What does the role entail?

I’ve worked with OSBF for nearly two years and my role is a whole plethora of tasks, with no two days the same.

My primary focus is facilitating the smooth progression of deals, ensuring our clients receive their funds efficiently and effectively to help drive their business ambitions.

This involves everything from coordinating with solicitors and existing charge holders to managing due diligence processes and providing other operational support.

In addition to this, I oversee the brokerage arm of the business, assisting clients in finding tailored financing solutions when our own book lending might not be the perfect fit. This can include helping secure commercial mortgages, unsecured funding, or asset finance options.

My work is really collaborative, closely supporting the Business Development Managers and the wider office staff. Of course, as part of the OSBF culture, I also contribute to the essential team task of making several cups of tea throughout the day!

From a personal perspective, being part of this team is very fulfilling. I enjoy having a fantastic group of backing singers to support my wonderful singing talents!
